Vintage Cup Villeroy & Boch Rusticana C

This is a vintage Villeroy & Boch Rusticana cup.

"Rusticana" means rural or rustic. The cup beautifully depicts a tranquil countryside landscape surrounding a lake, just as the name suggests. The rim features a lace-like relief, adding an elegant touch. The rhythmic relief against your fingers conveys a warm and gentle texture.

There is also a wild rose design on the inner surface, making this a small cup packed with beauty.

This is a French-made Villeroy.

Because the Saar region, which bordered Germany after the war, became part of France, this is a rare cup produced as "made in France" at that time.
