Antique dessert plate, Choisy-le-Roi, polychrome

This is an antique polychrome dessert plate from Choisy-le-Roi.

Its unique design, featuring a frame intertwined with flowering branches, is striking.

The frame depicts scenes reminiscent of the Brittany region, such as ships and lighthouses, giving the impression of looking out from within the frame.

There are faint traces of gold gilding on the rim of the plate, which gleams beautifully when held and moved.

While there is crazing, stains, and a hairline on the back (which does not affect the front), the plate is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
