The lily of the valley is also known as "Kimikage-sou" (shadow of my lord), evoking the image of a beautiful, modest woman who cherishes someone dear to her and quietly watches over them from the shadows.

The lily of the valley, with its rustic and understated beauty, has long been famous in France as "the flower that brings happiness" and "the flower that brings happiness again." May 1st is "fête du muguet," a day to give lilies of the valley to loved ones. Also, because it resembles a veiled bride, it is often given as a wedding flower.

This design evokes the modest beauty of the lily of the valley. The deep greenish-blue and white pottery enhance its elegance. Between the patterns, a small floral relief is applied, adding a soft, lace-like impression, making this a truly charming series.
