Antique dessert plate, Sarreguemines, Directoire C

This is an antique dessert plate from the Salins Pottery's Directoire series.

The dark blue rim, inspired by the Directoire style, complements the white plate beautifully. The delicate ribbons and rose garlands are a charming feature of this series.

It would also look lovely displayed on a wall.

Condition: There is crazing, and the transferware on the rim is slightly blurred. There are stains on the back and a small chip on the front rim, but it is in relatively good condition.
