Antique Dessert Plate, U&C Sarreguemines, 1855, "Le rendez-vous des bergères"

This is an antique dessert plate from the U&C Sarreguemines factory.

"Le rendez-vous des bergères" means "the shepherdesses' rendezvous."
The blue ribbons and flowers on the rim accentuate the black and white painting in the center.
This series of decorative plates depicts a slice of life from the mid-19th century.

Condition: There is extensive crazing throughout, with some stained areas. There is a crack about 5cm from the rim.
