This rare antique plate from the late 19th century is by Gallé Reinemer, a prestigious name representing Nancy, France.

── "Openwork" and Colors that Highlight Craftsmanship
The magnificent basketweave openwork along the rim is glazed with a subdued pink, emphasizing its three-dimensional beauty. The large flowers depicted in the center are charmingly detailed, as if plucked from a botanical encyclopedia, and feature the soft colors characteristic of antiques.

The gold trim in the gaps of the basketweave adds an elegant gleam, making it a striking presence when displayed on a table or wall.
