Antique Coffee Cup & Saucer, Limoges Sigismond Maas E

This is an antique coffee cup and saucer from the Limoges Sigismond Maas kiln (Limoges ware).

The thinness and whiteness characteristic of porcelain give it a more delicate and charming impression.
I can't help but admire this wonderful cup and saucer, where softly painted flowers, gilding, and beautiful relief are all in harmony.
It's such a lovely item that you'll want to display it on a shelf even when not in use.

Condition: There are some areas where the gilding is slightly faded, and although barely visible in the photos, there is a line (crack) about 5mm from the rim, but it is in good condition with no signs of heavy use.
