Antique Plate, England, Burleigh B

This is an antique plate from the British pottery, Burgess & Leigh (Burleigh Ware).

The beautiful, deep blue and white pattern creates an ornate design that extends across the entire rim of the plate.
Ribbon-like patterns and small floral motifs combine to evoke an elegant and classical atmosphere.

Condition: There is crazing throughout due to age and a chip on the back rim, but it remains in relatively good condition.

Size: Approximately 24.5cm diameter x 2.3cm height
Period: 1912-1919
