This is an antique dessert plate from the Sarreguemines factory, part of the Cérès series.

"Cérès" is the name of the goddess of prayer in Roman mythology. The delicate and mysterious crazing, perhaps named after her, is mesmerizingly beautiful.

Condition: There is crazing and staining throughout. There are no chips or cracks, and it is in good condition.
