A vintage plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines Champfleury series.
"Champfleury" is the name of a French town, but it also means "field of flowers."
Wildflowers bloom freely, unbound by anyone. Colorful flowers bloom as if singing in the sunlight, meticulously hand-painted.
This is a wonderful piece that conveys the warmth of handmade craftsmanship.
There is crazing and overall staining, but no chips or cracks.
Cutlery marks are visible.
