Antique Plate: W.A.A. & Cie Chrysanthemum

This is an antique oval plate from William Alsager Adderley and Co. Pottery, part of the Chrysanthemum series.

The beautiful circular relief, reminiscent of a flowing dress hem, is adorned with fine crazing, creating a mysterious charm.

The flowers are hand-painted.

It also makes a wonderful decorative plate.

Condition: There is crazing throughout, and two hairline cracks on the rim. This plate allows you to enjoy its antique atmosphere.
