This is an antique ravie from L&G Clairefontaine, part of their Recamier series.

I believe the series name comes from Madame Récamier.
Madame Récamier, with her beauty and intellect, was a leading figure in 19th-century French high society.
Her beauty inspired many works of art, and her fame is still known today.
It's possible that by associating it with Madame Récamier, there was an intention to express the elegance, refinement, and beauty of the dish.

Condition: There is crazing and a small hole from manufacturing that has become slightly stained, but there are no chips or cracks, and it is in good condition.
