Antique Raviere Saint-Amand Trianon
This is an antique ravishing dish from the Saint-Amand factory, part of the Trianon series.
Named after the "Grand Trianon," a palace on the grounds of Versailles, this series, true to its name, exudes an elegance that captures the splendor and grace of court culture within the tableware itself.
At its center is a charming angel, seemingly playing a musical instrument. Surrounding it are delicate rocaille decorations with intricate curves and garlands of lovely flowers.
The world depicted in the monochrome, deep blue (Blue de Saint-Amand) unique to Saint-Amand, which appears slightly blurred, is not overly sweet and offers a somewhat nostalgic and calming impression. The fine geometric border adorning the rim also tastefully tightens the overall look.
