This is an antique coffee cup and saucer from the U&C Sarreguemines factory, from the Louis XV series.

This coffee cup and saucer is from the "Louis XV" series, which exudes rococo elegance.
It's a piece where late 19th-century artisans masterfully recreated the Louis XV style, which flourished in 18th-century French courts, in ceramics.
Each time you hold it, you're transported to the salons of the noblewomen of that era, enveloped in an overwhelming grace.

The greatest charm of this series lies in the beauty of its "curves."
Undulating, shell-like reliefs flow from the cup to the saucer, casting soft, pearl-like shadows depending on the viewing angle.

The delicate flowers depicted on it seem as if garden blossoms have been gently enclosed.
The gold trim, which adorns the rim, emits a subdued glow with the passage of time, lending a "quiet dignity" unique to antiques amidst its splendor.

The compact coffee cup size is perfect for an after-dinner espresso or a special treat for yourself.
Even just displayed on a shelf, its captivating decorative beauty brightens the space, drawing you in.

Condition: There is crazing, a testament to its long years, but no cracks or chips.
It remains in such beautiful condition that it's hard to believe it's over 100 years old.
Size:
Cup: Diameter 7.5cm x 10.5cm including handle x Height 6cm
Saucer: Diameter approx. 14cm x Height approx. 2cm
Period: Late 19th century to early 20th century
