Antique Teapot Sarreguemines Kyoto

This is an antique teapot from the Sarreguemines factory, part of their Kyoto series.

The "Kyoto series" reflects a deep admiration for Japonism.

The spout and handle are designed to resemble bamboo. The collection features Japanese landscapes, buildings, and the daily lives of people, all seen from a different perspective. From this French antique, one can sense the modesty and grace of Japan during that period.

It's a beautiful piece that invites close observation.

Although it is missing its lid, it makes for a striking decorative item as is, and we highly recommend it.

Condition: Missing lid, and there is a chip on the spout.
