This is an antique teacup and saucer from the Sarreguemines factory, pattern number 252, Minton design.
It features a vibrant floral pattern. Colors were hand-painted over transferware, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship.
The design incorporates flowers and a cuckoo (bird), giving it a Japonisme feel.
This is a lovely series with vibrant flowers blooming on the beautiful, translucent white porcelain.
Condition: A small crack is visible in the center of the cup (not visible on the exterior surface). There is a black dot on the saucer from manufacturing.
