Antique saucer Saint-Clément Émile Gallé Libellule A
This is an antique saucer from the Saint Clement Pottery, "Libellule" series.
The "Libellule" series from Saint Clement Pottery was designed by Emile Gallé, a master of Art Nouveau.
"Libellule" means "dragonfly" in French.
During the Art Nouveau period, natural motifs were often incorporated into art and crafts.
Its charm lies in its warm design, like something out of a picture book, featuring hand-painted flowers and adorable insects.
It also makes a lovely accessory tray.
As this is an antique item, please forgive any minor scratches or dirt.
Condition: There are small chips on the rim, but they are not noticeable. It is in relatively good condition.
Size: Approximately 13.5cm diameter x 2.4cm height
Period: Believed to have been manufactured around the end of the 19th century.
Given the "KG (Keller & Guérin)" mark, it is presumed to have been made after Emile Gallé left Saint Clement Pottery.
