Antique Saucer Saint-Clément Émile Gallé Libellule (Dragonfly) F
This is an antique saucer from the Saint Clement Pottery, "Libellule" series.
The "Libellule" series from Saint Clement Pottery was designed by the Art Nouveau master, Émile Gallé.
"Libellule" means "dragonfly" in French.
During the Art Nouveau period, natural motifs were frequently incorporated into art and crafts.
Its charm lies in its warm design, featuring hand-painted flowers and adorable insects, as if they've sprung from a picture book.
It also makes a lovely accessory tray.
As this is an antique item, please expect some minor scratches and dirt.
Condition: Shows some signs of use and a small chip on the rim, but it is not noticeable. Overall in relatively good condition.
Size: Approximately 13.5 cm in diameter x 2.4 cm in height
Period: Believed to have been produced around the late 19th century.
Given that it bears the "KG (Keller & Guérin)" mark, it is presumed to have been made after Émile Gallé left Saint Clement Pottery.
