Vintage Large Plate Sarreguemines Fleurs d'Alsace

This is a vintage large plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines factory, from the Fleurs d'Alsace series.

This series is adorned with small, lovely hand-painted floral patterns.
You can feel the raised texture and color variations of the gansai pigments, conveying the warmth of handmade craftsmanship.

It would be charming to place it on a cupboard, filled with tangerines or apples, or with kitchen towels stacked on it.

Condition: There are chips on the rim and crazing, but it shows little signs of use.
