This is an antique deep plate from U&C Sarreguemines, Feria.

The deep plate features vibrant poppy flowers in bloom. Like cornflowers and daisies, poppies are a familiar flower in France.

Poppies bloom vigorously by the roadside, bathed in sunlight. Depicting them in blue evokes a sense of simplicity and poignancy.

Although there is some discoloration from crazing and cutlery marks, the deep plate is in good condition.
