Antique Deep Plate - U&C Sarreguemines Géranium (Geranium) A

This is an antique deep plate from the U&C Sarreguemines factory, from their Géranium (Geranium) series.

Produced with care at the Utzschneider faience factory in the 1890s, this series features delicate drawings of the lovely geranium flowers and leaves that adorn French windowsills.

Known for its refreshing scent, the geranium is a familiar sight to the French people.
Its appearance, with small flowers on slender stems, is charming to behold and has been beloved by many since ancient times.

Condition: There are fine marks and stains from crazing and cutlery, but these can be enjoyed as part of its antique charm.
There are no chips or cracks, and it is in relatively good condition.
