Antique Soup Tureen - U&C Sarreguemines Géranium

This is an antique soup tureen from the U&C Sarreguemines factory, from their Geranium series.

Soup tureens were used in French homes to serve soup or stews.
The delicate geranium pattern adorning the large bowl brings a warm touch to any dining table.

This soup tureen shows crazing and significant staining, signs of its long history.
Unfortunately, the handle of the lid is also broken off.

However, these stains and textures are part of the unique character of an antique, giving it a distinctive presence.
Even displayed as is, it will greatly enhance the atmosphere of any room.
Of course, it can be enjoyed for various decorative purposes, such as arranging flowers or holding small items.

Condition: Shows crazing, many stains, and discoloration due to age. The handle on the lid is missing.
