This is an antique sugar bowl from the Creil et Montereau kiln.
It is a large, octagonal sugar bowl.
The lid's knob is shaped like a pomegranate, making it very charming.
As a trinket box, it's also perfect for holding small wrapped candies.
Condition: Craquelure and discoloration are visible. There are also chips and hairlines (cracks). It's a piece where you can enjoy the atmosphere of an antique.
