Antique Terrine Simplex B

This is an antique Simplex terrine, made around 1920.

Originally, it was used as a container to preserve foie gras terrine. When you open the substantial lid, a small, lovely shaped container is revealed beneath.
This double-layered structure creates an exciting feeling, as if opening a secret treasure chest.

The lid's knob features unique designs such as a lion motif and its tail, drawing you in more and more the longer you look at it.
