Antique Tiles: Longwy Dentelle A

This is an antique tile from the Dentelle series by Longwy Pottery.

It's an antique tile depicting birds and lace.

It is believed to have been used as a trivet. Cork was attached to the back to raise its height and then cut, in my opinion.

Small chips, scuffs, and scratches create a soft texture, making this a heartwarming piece.

It would be lovely displayed upright, used as a trivet, or as a plant pot saucer.

Condition: Although there are chips, crazing, stains, and cutlery marks, these add to its antique charm.
