Antique Tile: Longwy Dentelle B

This is an antique tile from the Longwy factory's "Dentelle" series.

It is an antique tile depicting birds and lace.

It appears to have been used as a trivet. Cork was attached to the back to raise its height, and I believe it was cut off later.

Small chips, scuffs, and scratches create a soft texture, making this a piece that exudes warmth.

It would be lovely displayed upright, used as a trivet, or as a pot holder.

Condition: Chips, crazing, stains, and cutlery marks are visible, but these contribute to its antique charm.
