This is a vintage oval plate from Gien, a long-established French ceramics manufacturer.
It features the "Le fenouil" (fennel) design, one of the six designs in the "Les crudités" series.

The charming fennel depicted in the center is hand-painted over a delicate print, one by one, giving it the warmth and character unique to a vintage item.

The chic red and black double lines decorating the rim and the playful French lettering make the plate even more attractive.
