Vintage Bonbonnière Sarreguemines Papillon

This is a vintage bonbonniere from the Sarreguemines factory, from the Papillon series.

The design captures a scene of butterflies dancing among flowers and plants.

It's a design that evokes the beautiful scenery and cycles of life that fill our daily lives, things we might not notice unless we stop. It seems to tell us that even in roadside landscapes, there are wonderful, hidden scenes that can soothe our hearts.

This is the popular Papillon (butterfly) series from U&C Sarreguemines in France. This is not a 19th-century original, but rather a reproduction manufactured in the late 20th century.

Condition: No chips or cracks, very good condition with no signs of use.
