Vintage Crystal Glass Water Glass Cristal Lorraine

This is a vintage crystal "water glass" from Cristallerie de Lemberg or Cristallerie Lorraine (the same brand, but with two names; hereinafter referred to as Cristallerie Lorraine).

〜The Story Behind Cristallerie Lorraine〜

Cristallerie Lorraine was founded in 1925 by Théodore Heitzmann. Heitzmann was originally a baker near the Cristallerie Saint-Louis factory next door. However, Saint-Louis built a bakery within its own factory exclusively for its employees, which caused a significant decline in his store's sales.

It was then that he decided to establish Cristallerie Lorraine, a crystal manufacturing company. The artisans he hired for Cristallerie Lorraine were initially drawn from Saint-Louis, enabling them to produce high-quality crystal glass. Cristallerie Lorraine ceased operations in 1997, but it had earned a reputation as a brand that produced magnificent crystal glass.

This glass features beautiful cuts, and when held up to the light, it shimmers with rainbow colors. It is a stylish and lovely crystal glass.

Condition: No noticeable scratches. Only 5 of the glasses have backstamps. (Products with backstamps will be shipped first.)
