Vintage Dessert Plate, Gien Les tartes "Strawberry Tart"

This is a vintage dessert plate from the Gien Les Tartes series.

The tart-patterned series was designed for Gien by Marie-Pierre Boitard.
There are six types in the tart series. The different designs for each fruit are very cute and charming.
This one is "Tarte aux Fraises" (Strawberry Tart).
The rim features a rhythmic garland of fruits, and the well depicts a design that evokes a tranquil picnic.

This lovely dessert plate is perfect for hanging on a wall or displaying on a plate stand. Be sure to check out the charming design of the backstamp as well.

Condition: There is crazing, and some parts of the strawberry tart print are slightly faded, but there are no chips or cracks, and it is in very good condition.
