Vintage Dessert Plate Digoin & Sarreguemines Obernai 1-B

This is a vintage dessert plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines factory, from the Obernai series.

The popular Obernai series was designed by Henry Loux, a painter from the Alsace region of France,
and vividly depicts the beautiful townscapes and daily life of Alsace.

This dessert plate depicts a serene scene with a woman and child in traditional Alsatian costumes walking along a road, set against the backdrop of a church with white walls and a red roof perched on a hill.
It's a heartwarming design that evokes a sense of nostalgia. (Note: This design also has a mirrored variation.)
Surrounding the central image, the rim is adorned with beautiful bouquets and ribbon decorations, making it a vibrant and highly sought-after piece among collectors.

It can be enjoyed not only as tableware to adorn your dining table but also as an interior decoration displayed in a cabinet.

Condition: No signs of use, chips, or cracks; in very good condition.
