This is a vintage dessert plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines factory, from the Obernai series.

The popular Obernai series was designed by Henry Loux, an artist from the Alsace region of France,
and vividly depicts the beautiful streets and everyday life of Alsace.

This dessert plate depicts a peaceful scene of a woman and child in traditional Alsatian costume walking down a road, with a church with white walls and a striking red roof on a hill in the background.
It is a heartwarming design that evokes a sense of nostalgia. (Note: This design is a variation with the pattern reversed left and right.)
Surrounding the central design, the rim is adorned with beautiful bouquets and ribbons, making it a gorgeous and highly sought-after piece by collectors.

It can be used as tableware to adorn your dining table, or displayed in a cabinet as an interior decoration.
