Vintage Dessert Plate Digoin & Sarreguemines Obernai - A

This is a vintage dessert plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines factory, from the Obernai series.

The popular Obernai series was designed by Henry Loux, a painter from the Alsace region of France,
and vividly depicts the beautiful townscapes and scenes of daily life in Alsace.

This dessert plate features a shepherd in traditional black attire, walking with a large flock of sheep under a vast sky.
Timber-framed houses spread out in the background, creating a peaceful and idyllic design. (Note: This design also has a mirrored variation.)
Surrounding the central illustration, the rim is adorned with beautiful bouquets and ribbon decorations, making it a gorgeous and highly sought-after piece among collectors.

It can be enjoyed as tableware to brighten up your dining table, or displayed in a cabinet as an interior decoration.
