Vintage Dessert Plate Digoin & Sarreguemines Obernai 4-B

This is a vintage dessert plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines factory, from the Obernai series.

The popular Obernai series was designed by Henry Loux, a painter from the Alsace region of France,
and vividly depicts the beautiful townscapes and daily life of Alsace.

This dessert plate features a charming scene of a woman in Alsatian traditional dress gently watching over a flock of geese with their wings spread by the water.
In the background, lush pastures extend, evoking a relaxed rural landscape. (Note: This design is a variation with the pattern mirrored horizontally.)
Surrounding the central illustration, the rim is adorned with beautiful bouquets and ribbons, making it a vibrant and highly sought-after piece among collectors.

It can be used as tableware to adorn your dining table, or displayed in a cabinet as an interior decoration.

Condition: No signs of use, chips, or cracks; in excellent condition.
