Vintage Plate Digoin & Sarreguemines Mary-Lou (Marie-Lou) B

This is a vintage "Mary-Lou" series plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery.

With a warm, creamy white background, this charming plate features carefully hand-painted floral designs.
The reverse side is stamped "Peint à la main" (hand-painted), revealing the gentle texture unique to handcrafted items through variations in pigment intensity, overlapping colors, and brushstrokes.
The plump, round flowers are adorable, exuding a simple and charming atmosphere reminiscent of the French countryside (campagne).

The rim is adorned with vivid blue hand-painted brushstrokes, preventing the overall design from appearing vague and adding a pleasing crispness.

Condition: No chips or cracks, minimal signs of use, in very good condition.
