Vintage Digoin & Sarreguemines Mary-Lou Deep Plate 2C

This is a vintage deep plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines factory, from the Mary-Lou series.

Its charm lies in the carefully hand-painted floral patterns on a warm, creamy white background.
The back is stamped with "Peint à la main" (hand-painted), and the varying pigment intensity, overlapping colors, and brushstrokes reveal the gentle texture unique to handmade items.
The plump, rounded flowers are adorable, creating a rustic and pretty atmosphere reminiscent of the French countryside (campagne).

The rim features hand-painted vibrant blue brushstrokes, which give the piece a well-defined and balanced look.

Condition: There is some faint crazing on the rim, but no chips or cracks, and minimal signs of use, indicating it is in very good condition.
