Vintage Deep Plate - Digoin & Sarreguemines Mary-Lou Cream

This is a vintage deep plate from the Digoin & Sarreguemines pottery, part of the Mary-Lou series.

Its charm lies in the hand-painted floral patterns, meticulously crafted one by one on a warm cream-colored background.
The beautiful variations in pigment density and overlapping colors create a gentle texture unique to handcrafted items.
The plump floral shapes are endearing, evoking a rustic and lovely atmosphere, much like the French countryside (campagne).

A vibrant blue line, also hand-painted, adorns the rim, giving the piece a well-defined and balanced look without appearing muddled.

Condition: Minor cutlery marks are visible but not prominent. No chips or cracks, in good condition.
