[Vintage] A. Dressinval | Gilded Cup & Saucer (1950s-70s)

This is a cup and saucer by A. Dressinval, a ceramist from Burgundy, France, with a jewel-like richness of color.
These highly artistic vintage pieces were handcrafted one by one from the 1950s to the 1970s.

── A poem of color and gold, woven by hand
The greatest charm of this series is the striking contrast between its vivid colors and the delicate gilding that dances upon them.

The dynamism of hand-painting: The intricate gold decorations applied to the inside and outside of the cup and on the saucer are all hand-painted by the artist.
The artist's presence can be felt in the subtle variations in line thickness and brushwork of each individual piece.

Memories of the vineyard: The circular pattern is inspired by the vineyards, a specialty of his homeland, Burgundy.

Exciting color variations: From chic black to lovely pink, noble purple, bright yellow, and warm brown.
While beautiful on their own, arranging them in different colors further enhances their splendor, expanding the joy of display. (This one is yellow.)

Condition: There are areas where the gilding is faded and several tiny chips are visible on the rims of the cup and saucer, but overall, it remains in good condition with a lustrous sheen for a vintage item.
Please enjoy the character that has been carefully passed down through many years.
