Vintage Deep Dish FF Pexonne Anne
This is a vintage deep plate from FF Pexonne (Pexonne) Pottery, from the ANNE series.
This charming plate features a gentle, creamy white background adorned with hand-painted, freely drawn floral patterns.
Vibrant blue, yellow, and burgundy flowers are gracefully arranged around two central, bud-like blooms.
The varying shades andかすれ (fading) of the pigments and the brushstrokes convey the warmth of handwork, and its rustic appearance evokes the good old French countryside (campagne).
The burgundy brushstroke pattern along the rim serves as a stylish accent, adding warmth and a subtle tightening to the overall design.
This soup plate, with its ideal depth, is highly versatile and perfect for serving soups, pasta, risotto, stews, as well as salads and fruits.
Condition: Craquelure is visible on the underside of the rim, but there are no chips or cracks, and there are minimal signs of use, indicating a very good condition.
Size: Approximately 22.2 cm in diameter x 3.7 cm in height
Period: 1920s to 1950s
