Vintage Framed Illustration Filippino Lippi Madonna and Child

This is a vintage frame with an illustration of the Madonna and Child by Filippo Lippi.

On the back, there are several signatures and a date from 1940.
The message reads, "I will send memories to my wife and wish her happiness."
It is thought that a man who had to go to war signed and left this.

Condition: Some dirt and scratches are visible (with glass pane).
