This is a vintage dessert plate from the Gien faience factory.

This plate dates from the 1970s and was made for the French brand "Yves Rocher," which is also popular in Japan.
The plate is dynamically printed with morning glory (Convolvulus tricolor).
Convolvulus tricolor is a flower often seen blooming on the edges of vast fields in France. It resembles a morning glory but is named for the fact that its flowers do not wilt at noon.
The elegant rim acts like a frame, making this a piece you'll want to display and enjoy.

Condition: There is crazing throughout, but no chips or cracks, and very good vintage condition with minimal signs of use.

Size: Approximately 17 cm in diameter x 2 cm in height

Era: 1970s
