This is a vintage dessert plate from Gien faience.

This plate from the 1970s was made for "Yves Rocher," a French brand that is also popular in Japan.
The plate features a dynamic print of bindweed.
Bindweed is a flower that often blooms alongside vast fields in France. It resembles a morning glory, but its name comes from the fact that its flowers do not wilt during the day.
The elegant rim acts like a frame, making it a piece you'll want to display and enjoy.

Condition: There is crazing throughout, but no chips or cracks, and very good vintage condition with little sign of use.

Size: Diameter approx. 17cm x Height approx. 2cm

Period: 1970s
