This is a rare vintage plate from the old French pottery, Le Poët-Laval.
It features a meltingly soft, vanilla ice cream-like yellow glaze, dotted with small black speckles.

The unusual octagonal shape and the dot pattern on the rim create a somewhat nostalgic and endearing atmosphere.

There are some slight color variations, but it shows little signs of use and is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
