This is a rare vintage plate from the old French pottery, Le Poët-Laval.
It features a meltingly soft, vanilla ice cream-like yellow glaze, dotted with small black speckles.

The unusual octagonal shape and the dot pattern on the rim create a somewhat nostalgic and lovely atmosphere.
The brown line on the rim tightens the whole and gives it an elegant impression.

Although there are some slight color variations, it shows little signs of use and is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
