This rare vintage plate is from the old French pottery, Le Poët-Laval.
It features a melt-in-your-mouth, gentle yellow glaze, like vanilla ice cream, speckled with small black dots.

Its unusual octagonal shape and the dot pattern on the rim create a somewhat nostalgic and endearing atmosphere.
The brown line on the rim tightens the whole design, giving it an elegant impression.

There are some signs of use, such as small scratches from cutlery, but these are barely noticeable unless reflected in the light.
It is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
