This rare vintage plate is from the old French pottery, Le Poët-Laval.
It features a meltingly soft yellow glaze, reminiscent of vanilla ice cream, scattered with small black speckles.

The unusual octagonal shape and the dot pattern on the rim create a nostalgic and charming atmosphere.
The brown line on the rim tightens the whole and gives it an elegant impression.

There are some signs of use, such as minor scratches from cutlery, but these are barely noticeable unless reflected in the light.
