This is a pewter bonbonnière by Jean Goardere.
Jean Goardere, active since 1938, received the Meilleurs Ouvrier de France award in 1955. (French National Best Craftsman Award)
In 1969, he also received the highly prestigious French award "Prestige et des métiers de luxe, coupe du « bon goût Français »", making him a craftsman with excellent skills recognized by France.
This bonbonnière, believed to be from the latter half of the 20th century, is a convenient size, neither too big nor too small.
