This is a pewter bonbonnière by Jean Goardere.

Jean Goardere, active since 1938, received the Meilleurs Ouvrier de France award in 1955. (France's Best Craftsman Award)

In 1969, he also received the prestigious French award, Prestige et des métiers de luxe, coupe du « bon goût Français »,

making him a craftsman with excellent skills recognized by France.

This bonbonnière, believed to be from the latter half of the 20th century, is a convenient size, neither too large nor too small.

The lid features a charming melon-like knob, a fruit commonly eaten in France during the summer. Its side profile is also beautiful, making it an item you'll want to display where it can be frequently seen.

You can use it in various situations, such as storing your favorite accessories, small items, candies, or sweets, or simply enjoying it as an objet d'art on a bookshelf or open display shelf.

Size: Diameter 13cm x Height 9cm (4.5cm without lid)

Material: 95% Pewter
