Vintage Limoges GDA Chaux de Fonds Plate F
This is a vintage plate from the Limoges GDA kiln, part of the Chaux de Fonds series.
GDA stands for the initials of Gerard, Dufraissex, and Abbot.
It is a porcelain plate.
The "Chaux-de-fonds" series is named after a city famous for its watchmaking industry in Switzerland,
and it is believed that the design was inspired by this place.
It features delicate floral patterns reminiscent of the Rococo style and gracefully curved reliefs,
with the gilded rim, in particular, evoking the lavish feasts of the nobility of that era.
At first glance, its captivating colors and design are reminiscent of Marie Antoinette.
Condition: There are no chips or cracks, and it is in extremely good condition with almost no signs of use.
