Vintage Plate Limoges GDA Chaux de Fonds H
This is a vintage plate from the Limoges GDA factory, part of the Chaux de Fonds series.
GDA stands for the initials of Gerard, Dufraissex, and Abbot.
It is a porcelain plate.
The "Chaux-de-fonds" series is named after the city famous for its watchmaking industry in Switzerland,
and it is believed that the design was inspired by this location.
It features delicate floral patterns reminiscent of Rococo style and gracefully curved relief work,
with the gilded rim particularly evoking the lavish banquets of aristocrats from that era.
At first glance, its color palette and design are charmingly reminiscent of Marie Antoinette.
Condition: There are no chips or cracks, and it is in exceptionally good condition with almost no signs of use.
